Keaun O'Connor Beacom
Born in Tauranga, New Zealand, and raised in Northern New Mexico, my perspective has been shaped by two of the world’s most strikingly contrasted landscapes. From the sun-drenched mesas, rugged peaks, and ancient adobe villages of Northern New Mexico to New Zealand’s North and South Islands, where gin clear waters trickle through lush forests, volcanic plateaus, and alpine peaks into windswept coastlines and deep glacial lakes. Growing up immersed in skiing, skateboarding, graffiti art, and fly fishing, I developed a creative passion for photography and capturing movement, light, and the raw beauty of my surroundings.
With a history of cumulative grief and trauma, I have an interest in Psychology and Mental Health. Currently studying to complete my BA in Psychology and Minor in Communications. I aspire to share with others how I have coped and found happiness through fly fishing, photography, and outdoor adventure.
